    Named for Dean Smith’s famous “four corners” offensive strategy, Four Corners has been a popular spot to watch the game for decades. Don’t let the packed restaurant fool you, though. After 39 years of being open, Four Corners has mastered customer service. “Four Corners has the best service,” freshman Andrew McKinnon said. “One of their employees, Annie, even helped me with a business project once.” And with three separate levels for seating, every Tar Feel fan can find a place to sit to grab a bite while doing homework or catching up with a friend.

Named for the Nash County product who played both basketball and football at UNC, it is a heated, crunchy combination of fried pickles, banana peppers and jalapeños served with ranch dipping sauce.

But the real reason you come here is to enjoy the camaraderie facilitated by the bar's tiered set-up. With a great layout and TV arrangement, Four Corners somehow contains boisterous Tar Heels of all ages during basketball games. Narrowly taking the cake over competing March-Madness gathering ground, Top of the Hill, Four Corners' true-blue setting makes it the perfect place to meet up with Carolina fans—rain or shine, win or lose.
